What we do...

  • We provide healthy meals to members of the Sun City West Community (only) who might otherwise face food insecurity.
  • Our volunteers deliver meals directly to each door 6 days a week, Mon-Sat.
  • We help members of our community remain at home with good nutrition and human interaction.
  • Individual meals can be tailored to meet medical needs and cultural preferences.
  • We offer active members of our community an opportunity to be of service to those less active.

What our clients can expect...

    Our clients receive fresh meals that come warm from the kitchen and cold from the cooler.
  • Meals are prepared in the kitchen of Grandview Care Center in Sun City West.
  • Each day's menu is determined by Grandview and we deliver to the client's door.
  • Deliveries arrive before noon and include a warm ready-to-eat portion and a cold portion for later.
  • Meals are healthy (low fat, low salt) and can be taylored to fit specific dietary restrictions.
  • Participation in our program can be short-term or long-term.
  • Clients can have a meal delivered each day, Monday thru Saturday, or choose specific days of the week for meals.
  • There is a standard rate for each meal, but if you have monetary difficulties, please let us know and we will do our best to help you receive nutritious meals on a regular basis.

What our volunteer delivery people do...

  • Each volunteer typically delivers meals one day each week.
  • Each volunteer typically delivers two to eight meals on that day.
  • Each volunteer typically delivers meals every other month.
  • Volunteers provide their own transportation and cover their own expenses.

    • Collectively, our volunteers deliver meals to our clients 6 days per week.
    We are always responsive to the scheduling needs of our volunteers.

How we survive - your donations...

    We are a private, not-for-profit 501c(3) organization that relies on private donations.
    We do not get any government funding - we are supported by people like you.
